We have both seasonal snowbird and full-time residents. All homes are rented on an annual basis, but a great discount is offered for snowbirds. At Village of Casa Del Sol you will be amazed by the affordability and convenience of your cottage. Each 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom furnished cottage home includes everything listed on the Cottage page. In addition, the price for a cottage home also includes access to our resort clubhouse, pool, and exercise room. We are a 100% Non-smoking community, so smoking is strictly prohibited in the cottage, as wells as all outdoor spaces on property. All residents are invited to bingo and numerous other planned social activities which are coordinated by our activities director and activities committee.
We rent cottages for the whole winter season with the added bonus of keeping your items in the home over the summer at an incredible discounted rate for snowbirds. If you want to visit seasonally you can stay up to 8 months and still qualify for the snowbird discount. During the peak winter season you will love the warm Florida weather, exciting nearby destinations, and fun social events at the clubhouse. During the off-season, enjoy the convenience of using your cottage for storing personal items. That's right--keep your beach umbrella, cooler, Florida clothes, golf clubs and other personal items in your cottage over the summer awaiting your return. Due to popular demand, we do not offer leases shorter than the Snowbird Discount Lease. We have a large number of repeat residents who come back year after year and enjoy a "home away from home" at Village of La Casa Del Sol.
*Subject to lease terms and availability. The Snowbird Discount Lease is designed to be affordable for winter visitors who wish to visit up to 8 months per year with the ability to keep your items it the cottage over the summer.
The snowbird discount is only available to residents who physically reside in the cottage 8 months or less per year. Please see lease for full details. Most leases run one year from June 1-May 31 or from the date you sign up though May 31 of the following year. Additional amenities on specific homes may be extra (such as the vinyl window upgrade—please inquire at lease signing). There is a Lot Services Fee of $30 /month for months home is occupied. (Covers water/sewer, curbside trash pickup, and basic lawn mowing). Electric is billed per usage and is due monthly. Prices subject to change without notice. Please review lease for all the details.
